We share this inspiring poem, may the words touch your heart as they have touched our hearts!

I tried to think of a clever new phrase—
A slogan to inspire the next 365 days,
A motto to live by this coming New Year,
But the catchy words fell flat to my ear.

And then I heard His still small voice
Saying, “Consider this simple, daily choice:
With each new dawn and close of day
Make new your resolve to trust and obey.”

“Don’t look back, caught in regret
Or dwell on the sorrow of dreams unmet;
Don’t stare forward anchored by fear,
No, live in this moment, for I Am here.”

“I am all you need. Everything. I Am.
You are held secure by my strong hand.
Give me this one thing—your all in all;
Into my grace, let yourself fall.”

So, at last, I’m ready; I see the way.
It’s to daily follow, trust, and obey.
I enter the New Year armed with a plan,
To give Him my everything—all that I am.

Pan American Broadcasting was reminded of God’s compassion and His glorious love as we helped the
local community this Christmas season. Our hearts were overjoyed to be a part of this Outreach!

Around the world and in our local communities we are reminded of the suffering and hardships that so many have to endure, and it is our God given duty to lend a helping hand each and every day. Every day we interact with folks from all walks of life, and if we come from a place of compassion and love and share our giving hearts then we can rest at night knowing that we have given God the chance to make an impact in someone’s life.

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He himself said, “it is more blessed to give then to receive.” Acts 20:35

The definition of “Evangelism” is the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness. It is the proclamation and/or announcement of the gospel, of the Good News about Jesus Christ. Evangelism is derived from the Greek work “euaggelion”, which means “gospel” or “Good News”. And in its verb form “euaggelizesthai” means “to announce” or “bring the Good News”.

So what does “evangelism” mean to you?

  • Does it mean walking the streets of your community and sharing the Good News?
  • Does it mean holding large revivals in your community or abroad?
  • Does it mean the gathering of your congregation on a weekly basis, sharing the Good News, studying the Bible, and deepening your congregation’s walk with the Lord?
  • Does it mean deploying missionaries throughout the world, equipping those missionaries to share the Good News?
  • Does it mean to walk in faith at all times?
  • Does it mean to always analyze your daily interactions under the premise of “what would Jesus do in this particular situation?”

The need for love and hope in this world is ever so present, and we are called to share the love of Jesus Christ with all mankind in our local communities and abroad. I just read an article about the Church of England, and how the church is instituting a new initiative which is aimed at sharing the Good News. In England, a country where the percentage of Believers has been declining, the church leaders realize the need to do something…..and that something is “evangelism”. http://www.christianheadlines.com/blog/archbishops-of-canterbury-and-york-launch-new-evangelism-initiative.html

Please share how you are involved with evangelism……we would love to hear from you! God bless you!
